Lorient Grand Large

Lorient Grand Large is the association created by Cap Lorient in order to develop the offshore racing hub in Lorient.

One of the missions for LGL is to organize nautical events such as the Volvo Ocean Race stopover in Lorient in June 2012. Besides, it aims at helping skippers and companies in the nautical field to develop their activity in Lorient.

Main missions:

- Help skippers, teams and amateurs in their training so that they can benefit from the best services possible

- Organize and host nautical events on an international and national scale

- Unite athletes, companies and associations around one common goal: being the center of activities in the nautical field

- Communicate and promote its activities and missions
